AI Transformation Advisory - Senior Associate (AI)

Location: Remote, associated with Chicago, United States of America

Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually; total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $149,000–$184,000.

What you will do

• Define AI strategies, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans for client engagements.
• Lead independent workstreams and deliver structured analysis aligned with client objectives.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, and technology ecosystems to identify AI and automation opportunities.
• Design responsible, human-centered AI operating models and governance frameworks.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and change management specialists to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop prototypes using agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation tools, while contributing to proposals and AI thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in consulting, technology, or enterprise transformation, including exposure to AI, analytics, or digital strategy.
• Ability to connect business challenges with technology solutions.
• Familiarity with major AI ecosystems and platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience supporting AI or data-driven solution delivery, including generative or agentic AI applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to structure insights and influence client stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver independently, and work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG architectures, orchestration frameworks, or AI agents.
• Familiarity with data platform modernization, AIOps/MLOps, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards, prototypes, or lightweight AI automations.
• Certifications in cloud AI platforms, such as Azure AI Engineer or AWS Machine Learning Specialty.
• Prior consulting experience in client delivery, business development, or thought leadership.
