Information Systems Security Officer

Location: Rock Island, IL; work is primarily performed in an office environment.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 per year; final offer depends on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the Risk Management Framework process from system categorization and security control selection through implementation and assessment.
• Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, Plans of Action and Milestones, and other RMF documentation.
• Manage system security posture and data in eMASS.
• Implement continuous monitoring to assess control effectiveness, track vulnerabilities, and manage configuration changes.
• Advise system owners and coordinate with the Authorizing Official and other stakeholders on cybersecurity risks and controls.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret/SCI level.
• Must hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, control implementation, and compliance frameworks.
• Significant experience supporting authorization, assessment, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Ability to evaluate complex technical environments and communicate risk clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
