Intune Engineer

Location: Bethesda, MD, United States; work is primarily performed in an office environment.

Estimated annual pay range: $96,555–$100,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Support Intune device enrollment, compliance, policy validation, and application deployments.
• Monitor device management dashboards and deployment status, identifying noncompliant or unhealthy devices.
• Assist with application assignments and Autopilot support.
• Document incidents, procedures, symptoms, and reproduction steps before escalation.
• Test low-risk changes under senior engineering review and escalate complex issues.
• Build proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph while working across distributed technical teams.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Public Trust level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in Windows endpoint support.
• Foundational Intune and Entra ID skills.
• Ability to independently meet contractual Cloud Engineer III qualifications.
• Ability to document technical work, communicate with federal stakeholders, and follow formal change, security, and operational governance processes.
• Ability to manage competing operational priorities across distributed technical teams.
• Experience with enterprise-scale endpoint management, cybersecurity operations, automation, metrics, documented quality controls, and service transition practices.
