Senior Telecommunications Analyst I (II)

Location: Hybrid in Audubon, Pennsylvania; onsite work is required each week. During the on-call rotation, you must remain within an hour’s drive of PJM.

What you will do

• Maintain current documentation and operational status tracking for telecommunications systems and assets.
• Manage telecommunications asset lifecycles, including circuits, mobile devices, teleworker services, and related service changes.
• Track vendor contracts, develop and maintain SLAs, evaluate vendor proposals, and monitor compliance and expiration dates.
• Monitor circuit utilization, support budgeting and audits, and identify cost-reduction and service-improvement opportunities.
• Research, design, and implement reliable voice and data telecommunications solutions, standards, and security practices.
• Provide technical advice and responsive support to ITS customers while owning, resolving, and communicating issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with systems management, telecommunications support, and telecommunications systems administration.
• Experience with British Telecom bulk turret or an equivalent system.
• Experience with voice recording systems and mass communication systems.
• Experience with Cisco Call Control and Unified Communications platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Expressway Series gateways, and Cisco IP phones.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work products.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Experience or familiarity with Cisco-based network technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions or support for PJM committees.
• Experience or knowledge of Critical Infrastructure Protection requirements.
