DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel

Annual base salary: 250,000–376,000 ILS for US-based employees; bonus or commission plan and equity grant are also available.

What you will do

• Operate and improve the reliability, security, and cost efficiency of multi-account cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Build and maintain GitOps delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service capabilities for development teams.
• Maintain dashboards, alerts, and SLOs; participate in on-call, incident response, and postmortems.
• Write infrastructure as code and Python tooling to automate manual work.
• Use AI tools for infrastructure and operations work, validating their output before production.
• Partner with development teams, communicate clearly, and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads.
• Working experience with AWS, including IAM and EKS.
• Understanding of VPC, DNS, load balancing, and security groups.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, continuous delivery, Kubernetes packaging, and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, and GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with metrics, logs, and traces for distributed systems.
• Solid Linux and scripting skills with Python development experience.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and troubleshoot production issues with guidance from senior engineers.
• Practical experience using AI tools in daily engineering work and validating their output; ability to break down defined tasks and deliver them.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with AI-assisted code review, test generation, and pipeline automation.
• Microservice-based architecture and internal developer platforms.
• Cloud cost optimization, identity and access management, SSO, and secrets management.
• Data stores such as search engines and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Crossplane.
