Senior QA Engineer (TypeScript, Blockchain)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end QA for a large-scale blockchain-based platform for private markets, covering requirements analysis, manual validation, automation, and release support.
• Define and improve QA strategies, test plans, quality gates, testing scope, and ownership across QA and engineering teams.
• Build and maintain automated test suites, frameworks, and test harnesses for backend, integration, API, and smart-contract testing.
• Test blockchain integrations, smart contracts, REST APIs, JSON-RPC endpoints, MCP servers, and related functionality.
• Integrate and monitor automated tests in CI/CD pipelines, investigate distributed-system issues, and report quality risks and blockers.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define coverage and acceptance criteria and improve QA practices across projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles, including manual and automated testing across the full SDLC.
• Strong backend and non-UI test automation experience, including developing, maintaining, and debugging automated tests.
• Strong programming skills for test automation, preferably with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Ability to define QA strategies, test plans, quality gates, testing scope, and coverage allocation between QA and engineering teams.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including wallets, transactions, and blockchain types.
• Experience testing REST APIs and RPC-based interfaces, including JSON-RPC and gRPC.
• Experience with Docker-based test environments, containerized-service debugging, CI/CD integration, and quality gates.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills, including independent management of testing activities.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on testing of blockchain systems, smart contracts, and transaction flows.
• Go for test automation; EVM testing with Foundry, Hardhat, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to read and understand Solidity or Rust for smart-contract validation.
• Experience with Layer 2 solutions, blockchain protocols, asynchronous messaging systems, Kubernetes, observability-driven testing, MCP servers, and performance or load testing.
