What you will do

• Lead mechanical solution design and development from concept through production.
• Create and optimize 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD tools.
• Design and support Power Distribution Unit products and related mechanical assemblies for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Evaluate Engineering Change Requests and implement revisions through Engineering Change Orders when required.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, NPI, and Program Management teams.
• Support prototype builds, validation testing, design verification, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to solve complex technical challenges while collaborating across global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with New Product Introduction and product lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Design for Excellence, and engineering best practices.
• Experience designing electro-mechanical products, assemblies, or complex mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with product validation, testing, and root-cause analysis methodologies.
• Experience working with manufacturing teams to improve quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
