Chief Financial Officer, International (Fintech)

What you will do

• Act as the CFO-level strategic finance partner to the Head of International and leadership team, advising on growth, investment, profitability, risk, and operational performance.
• Lead international FP&A, including forecasting, operating and strategic planning, performance analysis, revenue planning, capital planning, and headcount planning.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, acquisitions, investments, business cases, risks, due diligence, integration considerations, pricing, contract negotiations, and product profitability.
• Lead finance transformation across planning, reporting, metrics, profitability analysis, operational excellence, and Project ICON strategy.
• Partner with US stakeholders and cross-functional teams on deal structuring, pricing methodologies, client negotiations, benchmarks, and international FX exposure.
• Lead and develop a geographically distributed FP&A team and serve as UK Senior Accounting Officer, overseeing statutory filings, audits, tax, transfer pricing, contracts, capital expenditure, and leases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including senior FP&A or business finance leadership with CFO-level strategic scope and sustained financial, strategic, and operational performance.
• Experience in large, complex, matrixed organizations, partnering with senior executives, boards, and stakeholders across functions and geographies, including US stakeholders.
• Strong experience in FP&A, P&L management, forecasting, strategic planning, financial analysis, corporate planning, business-unit finance, strategy, and operations, with a deep understanding of finance data flows and tools.
• Experience evaluating acquisitions, investments, and complex business cases, including risk analysis, due diligence, integration, and new business opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of US and international GAAP, corporate, sales, and withholding taxes, transfer pricing across EMEA and APAC, and multicurrency environments.
• Executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly and constructively challenge decisions.
• Collaborative, people-focused leadership experience across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, including talent development, transformation, consensus building, client service, and delivery under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Financial services or fintech experience, including knowledge of capital markets, wealth, and investment management marketplace dynamics.
• Experience in a large US company and a relevant finance qualification.
