Company

hirify.global develops AI computing hardware, software, and systems infrastructure for advanced AI applications as part of SoftBank Group.

What you will do

  • Own the architecture and technical roadmap for shared test automation frameworks supporting hardware bring-up, qualification, regression testing, and production validation.
  • Design reusable framework components, interfaces, configuration models, libraries, and scalable automated test suites across multiple hardware platforms and environments.
  • Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines, source control, lab infrastructure, orchestration systems, and data pipelines for test-result analysis and visualization.
  • Establish standards for reliability, maintainability, versioning, documentation, observability, traceability, and test-result integrity.
  • Lead debugging across test software, operating systems, firmware, hardware, networks, and lab environments while improving execution time, reproducibility, and resource use.
  • Guide technical decisions through design and code reviews, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and communication with engineering leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Substantial professional experience building software for test automation, validation infrastructure, developer tooling, or related systems, with technical leadership at Principal, Staff, or Lead Engineer scope.
  • Strong Python development skills and proficiency with Bash or comparable scripting languages.
  • Experience designing modular, scalable, and maintainable frameworks with stable interfaces, reusable components, configuration management, and automated verification.
  • Experience with Linux or Unix, Git-based development, CI/CD pipelines, and production-quality software engineering practices.
  • Experience working at the software-hardware boundary, including hardware testing, system validation, or embedded platform environments.
  • Strong debugging and systems-thinking skills across software, firmware, hardware, networks, and lab infrastructure.
  • Ability to convert technical specifications and quality goals into measurable coverage, repeatable tests, and actionable results.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional technical decisions, mentor engineers, and communicate with technical teams and engineering leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience with test orchestration, lab management, hardware farms, scheduling systems, or distributed automation infrastructure.
  • Background in AI hardware, server platforms, embedded systems, baseboard management controllers, or related low-level environments.
  • Experience integrating automated tests with manufacturing, deployment, or product-release workflows.
  • Experience developing test-data pipelines, dashboards, or visualization tools for engineering analysis and quality reporting.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments, remote execution, or infrastructure-as-code practices for test systems.

Culture & Benefits

  • U.S. employees may receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, including options for eligible dependents.
  • Benefits may include mental health and wellness resources, employee assistance, retirement savings contributions, life insurance, and disability coverage.
  • Paid vacation, sick time, company holidays, and parental or family leave may be available according to applicable plans and policies.
