Fund Accountant

Location: Hybrid, Kilkenny, Ireland

What you will do

• Bookkeep funds, management companies, and associated fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.
• Assist with accounting matters, including investor reports, statutory financial statements, reconciliations, proofing, and ad-hoc investor queries.
• Complete routine audit queries and prepare periodic bank reconciliations with supporting transaction documentation.
• Maintain bookkeeping records in eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules.
• Assist with periodic direct and indirect tax returns.
• Support the induction, integration, and training of trainee staff.

Requirements

• Studying towards a relevant professional qualification, preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills level or ACA Professional level.
• Some technical financial services knowledge; relevant technical training will be provided through the hirify.global Academy.
• Essential computer literacy skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and build close working relationships with colleagues and clients.
