Criminal Digital Forensic Analyst (Digital Forensics)

What you will do

• Provide direct digital and cellular forensic services to customer and facility staff.
• Forensically extract and analyze data from legally seized cellular devices using specialized extraction, data-mining, and link-analysis software.
• Apply electronic-evidence handling policies, forensic best practices, and required extraction techniques.
• Analyze data to identify facility trends and areas of investigative interest.
• Prepare detailed reports on forensic and intelligence processes and findings.
• Support investigations and participate in court or other administrative hearings as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Security and Intelligence, or a Business-related field; four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
• At least two years of related experience, including digital or cellular forensics, intelligence reporting and analysis, and strong investigative experience.
• Understanding and practical application of the Intelligence Lifecycle, investigative processes, criminal procedures, and institutional operations in a correctional environment.
• Ability to obtain and retain required forensic certifications covering logical and physical data extractions and chip-off techniques.
• Fluent written and verbal English is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analysis, reporting, and deadline-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Suite; ability to learn hirify.global and third-party applications within the first six months.
• Ability to handle confidential information, work proactively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and testify in court or administrative hearings.

Nice to have

• Existing Cellebrite and MSAB experience and certifications.
• Fluent written and verbal Spanish.
