Senior Salesforce Developer - Cigna Healthcare

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Build solutions with Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, platform configuration, and data models.
• Configure users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, access controls, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Design and support integrations with external applications using REST APIs and web services.
• Investigate complex configuration, automation, integration, and custom-development issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to technical design, estimation, planning, Agile delivery, source control, testing, releases, peer reviews, documentation, and Salesforce engineering standards while guiding less-experienced developers and administrators.

Requirements

• At least four years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Salesforce Service Cloud experience, ideally combined with Sales Cloud knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, triggers and trigger frameworks, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, object and data modelling, SOQL, and Salesforce data management.
• Solid Salesforce administration knowledge covering users, roles, profiles, permission sets and groups, sharing rules, organisation-wide defaults, security, access management, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and data quality processes.
• Ability to choose appropriately between standard configuration, Salesforce Flow, and custom development; troubleshoot platform configuration, automation, and custom code.
• Experience designing Salesforce REST API and external web-service integrations, using Git-based source control, participating in peer reviews, and following structured release processes.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, security, development best practices, and re-engineering solutions for improved automation, reporting, maintainability, and performance.
• Experience resolving complex functional and technical issues and working in Agile delivery teams.
• Ability to work independently, anticipate risks, communicate dependencies or blockers early, and collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders.
• Good written and spoken English and Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or another advanced Salesforce certification.
• Experience with Copado, Salesforce DevOps Center, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tooling; CI/CD pipelines and automated Salesforce deployments.
• Experience with automated testing, static code analysis, quality controls, legacy modernisation, Lightning migration, Salesforce integration patterns, Platform Events, Metadata APIs, process modelling, or event-driven solutions.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
