Location: Remote setting in Athens, Greece

hirify.global develops scientific instruments and analytical and diagnostic solutions; TOFWERK, a hirify.global company, develops high-performance mass spectrometers for chemical analysis.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain software features for time-of-flight mass spectrometers.
  • Collaborate directly with application scientists and product teams to gather and implement feature requests.
  • Debug software issues, including problems caused by hardware and third-party software components.
  • Install software for testing, excluding production installations.
  • Work in a small team focused on elemental analysis and imaging and stay informed about relevant work topics.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of software development experience using C#.
  • Interest in collaborating with non-software R&D staff and product teams.
  • Independent, well-structured, and goal-oriented working style.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Master's-level education in a scientific field.
  • Experience using analytical techniques.

Nice to have

  • Experience in material science, particularly SIMS.
