Senior Systems Engineer Windows Operations (Windows)

Location: In person in Vienna, Austria; valid Austrian work permission is required.

Salary: Minimum €74,200 gross per year for this full-time role.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and optimize customer IT infrastructure and systems.
• Prepare new services and support change management processes.
• Troubleshoot critical customer situations and provide timely technical solutions.
• Size and optimize systems to support secure, reliable, and efficient business performance.
• Collaborate with IT professionals on large-scale projects and customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in system management, network administration, and technical support.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, including Windows, networks, and software systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, IT security architecture, risk management, cyber threat hunting, and cybersecurity standards.
• Expertise in data warehousing, database administration and design, data quality, data modeling, data architecture, and programming languages.
• Fluent German and English.

Nice to have

• Systematic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Windows.
• Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or project management.
• Experience with Windows infrastructure operations, Active Directory, DNS, PKI, clustering, MSSQL, IIS, virtualization, automation, networking, and storage.
