Senior Software Engineer (Medical Imaging)

Location: Onsite in Kefar Sava, Central, Israel

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex applications that process and visualize angiographic imaging in real time within the Cath lab.
• Develop operating system components, software tools, utilities, and systems software.
• Determine software design requirements and implement system improvements that increase efficiency.
• Work across software lifecycle activities, from design through implementation, for R&D and new-technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, software test and automation engineers, biomedical engineers, and product specialists in an agile environment.
• Coach and review the work of other engineers while contributing to projects and work-group objectives.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a C++ Senior Software Developer.
• High proficiency in C++, C#/.NET, and C.
• Familiarity with WPF.
• Strong object-oriented design and multithreading programming skills.
• Hands-on application development experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision, determine solution approaches, and handle difficult problems involving multiple specialties.

Nice to have

• Computer vision and image processing experience.
• GPU programming, preferably CUDA.
• MATLAB or MATLAB API experience.
• VTK and/or OpenGL experience.
• Medical imaging experience, preferably DCMTK.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
