Embedded Linux Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement software for future semiconductor devices and features.
• Develop software that is aware of hardware and integrates with high-level software using modern protocols such as gRPC.
• Bring up hardware for new solutions and optimize system performance.
• Make technical decisions supporting application scalability, performance, code quality, and solid architecture.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, software, and algorithm developers.
• Design, prototype, develop, debug, document, and test software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Object-oriented programming experience with C++ and Python.
• Significant Linux user-space experience.
• Strong debugging capabilities and the ability to self-learn and investigate unfamiliar areas deeply.
• Ability to work as a team player, take full ownership, and work independently.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
