Software Developer

Location: Xi'an, China; on-site.

What you will do

• Design and develop software solutions, features, customer experiences, interactive prototypes, and reusable code for client projects.
• Apply TDD, pair programming, design patterns, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to produce high-quality software.
• Collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers, and cross-functional technologists.
• Advocate for DevOps practices and take ownership beyond individual deliverables.
• Learn and apply current technology practices from the hirify.global Technology Radar.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience; candidates with less than two years should apply through the graduates and career changers route.
• Experience with one or more development languages, such as Java, Kotlin, React, or TypeScript, plus object-oriented programming.
• Ability to write clean, high-quality code and identify and improve poor code.
• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Delivery.
• Awareness of TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches or tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a transparent, open, feedback-oriented, and non-hierarchical environment.
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge, with the ability to approach ambiguous challenges from multiple perspectives.
• Fluent English is required, including seamless full-English conversations and job interviews.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
