Senior Product Designer

Location: Hybrid and flexible in Dubai; based in or willing to relocate to Dubai.

hirify.global is a fast-growing scale-up developing a product suite with a platform team and multidisciplinary design organization.

What you will do

• Review the product suite and prioritize visual inconsistencies.
• Define the visual language across typography, colour, layout, density, iconography, illustration, and motion.
• Build the visual direction into the design system through components, interaction states, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Document and extend the visual standard for adoption by all product squads.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive system adoption and defend design decisions.
• Design and ship platform product work, working close to code and opening pull requests with Claude Code where appropriate.

Requirements

• Senior or lead-level product design experience with visual design as the strongest skill.
• Portfolio demonstrating visual systems created and the reasoning behind them, with a clear visual identity beyond well-designed user flows.
• Experience building and maintaining a design system used by other designers and engineers.
• Experience with motion and interaction design.
• Experience customizing and extending an existing code-based component library such as shadcn/ui, Radix, or Material UI.
• Comfort working close to code; ability to read HTML and CSS and understand how designs are built.
• Confidence presenting and defending design decisions to product managers and engineers.
• Full professional English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or an equivalent agentic coding tool.
• Working understanding of LLMs, core AI concepts, and their limitations.
• Front-end development experience.
• Background in brand or editorial design.
