What you will do
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and internal document postings.
- Execute and monitor general ledger accounting, reconciliations, period-end activities, and preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Prepare internal, statutory, and audit-related reports and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Plan and manage assigned accounting processes, resolve daily workflow issues, and escalate significant matters when necessary.
- Cooperate with Finance functions, internal stakeholders, and auditors.
Requirements
- Ability to independently manage assigned accounting processes and complete them accurately and on time.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in daily accounting workflows.
- Ability to handle complex, non-routine, or unusual accounting transactions and select appropriate accounting treatments, methods, tools, and systems.
