Accountant

Location: Prague, Czechia; hybrid workplace

Company

hirify.global is a major payments company with an international Finance team supporting financial operations across hirify.global Europe.

What you will do

• Process and post bank transactions and other accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, verification, and payment preparation.
• Prepare and maintain customer invoices and accounting documentation.
• Process corporate card reconciliations and perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial data and support compliance with company policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Secondary school or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a similar finance-related role.
• Fluency in Czech or Slovak and working knowledge of English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including cross-department collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems.
• Previous experience in an international or corporate environment.
