Network Security Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world or onsite from one of the company's European offices. The company hires specialists who have already relocated from Russia or Belarus.

Salary: €4,000–€6,000 gross per month.

An iGaming product company protecting its services, customer data, and business continuity through secure infrastructure and close collaboration between security and IT teams.

What you will do

• Maintain and develop the corporate VPN and next-generation firewall infrastructure.
• Implement network security controls, standards, and best practices across the company.
• Design, optimize, and secure corporate and cloud network architectures.
• Integrate and deploy network and security equipment.
• Contribute to security policies and standards.
• Automate routine network security and operational tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or Network Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Palo Alto architecture and hands-on experience with modern VPN solutions.
• Experience with firewalls and next-generation firewalls, including nftables/iptables and core firewall principles.
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access, and DDoS protection approaches.
• Deep knowledge of Linux-based operating systems, including the networking stack.
• Experience implementing networking and security in public clouds: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Understanding of BGP, OSPF, OSI layers L2/L3/L4/L7, network architectures, firewalls, and IDS/IPS environments.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack; network monitoring and observability, including NetFlow/IPFIX traffic analysis.
• Experience automating with Python or Go, strong written and verbal communication skills, and English at B2 or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware NSX, OpenStack Neutron, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, OpenID, and SAML authentication technologies.
