Company
hirify.global is a U.S. healthcare and insurance company providing insurance and healthcare services to millions of people, including Medicare and Medicaid members.
What you will do
Design, build, and own production agentic AI workflows that provide analysis, recommendations, and automation across the NBA platform.
Write and ship production code as a hands-on individual contributor while leading a small team of engineers and contractors.
Architect multi-step agentic pipelines integrating data layers, decisioning outputs, activation channels, and user-facing interfaces.
Integrate Claude, GPT, or equivalent LLMs using prompt engineering, tool use, structured outputs, and context management.
Partner with frontend and product teams to deliver AI-powered experiences in the Command and Control UI and other operator-facing surfaces.
Build evaluation frameworks and ensure AI workflows are reliable, auditable, and safe in a regulated healthcare environment.
Requirements
6+ years of software or ML engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years focused on LLM integration, agentic AI, or AI product engineering.
Production experience building agentic systems with multi-step pipelines, tool orchestration, structured output handling, and multi-turn conversation management.
Production experience with RAG patterns and vector search.
Strong Python engineering skills and experience shipping production-grade AI systems rather than prototypes.
Experience integrating Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent LLM APIs into real applications.
Ability to lead a small team or pod through delivery and manage contractor resources.
Strong judgment regarding when AI is appropriate, especially in regulated, member-facing contexts.
Clear communication skills for explaining agentic architectures to engineers and product owners.
Deep fluency with AI productivity tools such as Claude and Copilot.
Nice to have
Experience orchestrating multi-agent systems across complex, long-running workflows.
Experience integrating agentic AI into bespoke enterprise software and external systems such as Salesforce, Adobe Experience Platform, or claims platforms.
Experience building AI-powered analytics or insight surfaces for business intelligence or operational UIs.
Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries where AI outputs carry compliance risk.
Experience with AI evaluation frameworks for measuring output quality and detecting drift.
Familiarity with the Anthropic Claude API and Claude Agent SDK.
