SysAdmin II for Applications (OpenShift/AWS) - Lima

Location: Lima, Peru; hybrid schedule with office attendance twice per week.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and secure application software across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deploy and release application updates in compliance with Change Control policies.
• Maintain application configurations and create runbooks for reliable operations.
• Evaluate and apply patches, monitor system performance, and respond to potential issues.
• Review audit logs, escalate findings, and support IT Operations workflow improvements.
• Research and suggest tools or technologies for hybrid infrastructure needs.

Requirements

• Solid intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems and container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience managing AWS services or similar cloud technologies.
• Experience supporting Java applications in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat or Oracle Application Server.
• Experience scripting with Bash or Python for administrative tasks.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
