Team Lead, People Services (HR)

Location: Based in Hungary with work from the Budapest office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor approximately 10 People Associates, set goals, monitor performance, and run regular evaluations.
• Oversee HR inquiries from employees across multiple countries and act as the first escalation point for complex issues.
• Partner with Tier 2 HR and the business to transition processes into Tier 1, maintain process documentation, and ensure country deliverable coverage.
• Improve HR processes and systems, drive adoption of manager and employee self-service tools, and support Workday onboarding and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
• Create team development opportunities and implement improvements based on team and employee feedback.

Requirements

• Based in Hungary and able to work from the Budapest office at least 3 days per week.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven people management experience with a focus on team development.
• Background in employee lifecycle processes and HR service delivery.
• Familiarity with HR metrics and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
