Senior Accounting Analyst

What you will do

• Validate and record import-purchase transactions in SONDA and SAP, including documentation, aging reports, and provisions.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, analyze balance sheet accounts, investigate unusual or aged items, and resolve discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Review employee travel expenses in Concur for policy compliance, approvals, documentation, classifications, accounting entries, and VAT treatment.
• Support monthly close by reviewing journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, account movements, financial reports, and variance explanations.
• Manage accounting treatment and amortization for prepaid expenses, advances, intangible assets, and deferred charges.
• Support internal and external audits, maintain control compliance, and identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Two to three years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role, including knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience analyzing complex financial data.
• Intermediate English proficiency, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate accounting matters effectively across functions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP, SONDA, or Concur.
