Senior Fraud Researcher (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in Israel; Tel Aviv

What you will do

• Help establish a new threat research team, including its team culture, tooling pipeline, and research agenda.
• Conduct hands-on threat hunting and data-driven security research.
• Develop research findings into thought-leadership publications for security professionals.
• Operate independently while collaborating effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on security research experience, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security research.
• Hands-on programming and scripting experience with JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• In-depth understanding of web architecture, including the OSI model, REST APIs, microservices, DNS, and TLS.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with identity and access management protocols, including OAuth2/OIDC and FIDO2 WebAuthn.
• Knowledge of New Account Fraud and Account Takeover techniques, including credential stuffing, phishing, and bot detection evasion.
• Expertise in browser fingerprinting techniques using JavaScript APIs.
