Senior PAM Security Engineer (CyberArk)

Location: Hybrid in Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do

• Support and expand global PAM capabilities using CyberArk and other privileged access management technologies.
• Implement new PAM features and automation across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Diagnose complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and minimize service disruption.
• Maintain system health, apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure high availability of IAM/PAM systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, service desk, systems engineering, network security, audit, application development, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide rotating on-call support and implement compliance activities aligned with internal policies and external standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IAM and PAM technologies, including CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea.
• Required experience with cloud PAM in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and authentication and authorization protocols across hybrid environments.
• Windows and Linux administration experience, including UNIX security and PAM tool integration.
• Experience with networking protocols, incident response, DevOps, infrastructure as code, Terraform, and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, PAM best practices, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with CyberArk EPM and Delinea Centrify.
