Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid. Work may also be performed from home, the client site, or the Amsterdam office. Work permit sponsorship is not available, and non-Dutch speakers are not accepted.

What you will do

• Deliver consulting, implementation, and auditing engagements across cyber strategy, cyber risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Manage projects or complex international sub-projects from start to finish, including reporting, deliverables, and client commitments.
• Manage client relationships and act as a cybersecurity expert for middle-management stakeholders.
• Develop CyberLab offers and SaaS solutions, perform market benchmarks and proof-of-concepts, and monitor cybersecurity developments.
• Prepare and deliver certified cybersecurity training, awareness sessions, and coaching through the hirify.global Cyber Institute.
• Contribute to proposals, publications, business development, professional events, and the supervision and development of junior and confirmed consultants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including experience with cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks; Unix, Linux, Windows, and/or macOS operating systems; AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; web servers, databases, middleware, and other applications; and cryptography.
• Fast-learning, communicative, flexible, and entrepreneurial approach.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills.
