Senior Cloud Security Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands; work is possible from home, the client site, or the Amsterdam office. Non-Dutch speakers are not accepted, and a work permit cannot be provided.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and control security solutions for applications and data hosted in public, private, and hybrid clouds across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Provide benchmarks and decision support for cloud technology choices, design technical and functional cloud solutions, and deliver proofs of concept and value.
• Automate the installation of technical foundations and apply cloud architecture principles including microservices, containers, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Manage complete projects or sub-projects within complex and international engagements, including reporting, deliverable validation, and client relationship management.
• Develop CyberLab SaaS and AI solutions, conduct cybersecurity benchmarks and PoCs, contribute to publications and events, and design commercial proposals.
• Train users, administrators, and cybersecurity professionals, while supervising junior and confirmed consultants and supporting their skills development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems including Unix/Linux, Windows, and/or macOS, cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, applications such as web servers, databases, and middleware, and cryptography.
• Fast-learning, communicative, flexible, and entrepreneurial approach.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in the Netherlands without employer-provided work permit sponsorship.
