AI/ML Developer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; remote work from anywhere in Japan if the client project allows; working location may be a temporary office in Shinbashi, the client, or the project site; up to 25 days of work from a preferred global location with client permission.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models for predictive analytics, forecasting, and business decision-making.
• Develop algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
• Build data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with AFP-related applications, enterprise data platforms, and business planning systems.
• Develop REST APIs and integration components connecting models with existing applications.
• Monitor production model accuracy, performance, scalability, and reliability; support testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML development, including model design, training, deployment, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience developing data pipelines, performing feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, system integration, and connecting AI/ML solutions with enterprise applications.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
• Understanding of MLOps concepts, including model versioning, monitoring, automated deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, SAP environments, or business planning and analytics solutions.
