Machine Learning Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for machine learning projects focused on search, recommendations, and hyper-personalization.
• Provide technical oversight for machine learning models, systems, architecture, data pipelines, model serving, and productionization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize work, and deliver projects.
• Ensure model and system quality through testing, monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, support professional development, and promote technological innovation and continuous learning.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, data science, and software engineering, with hands-on experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams and delivering successful machine learning projects.
• Ability to develop and communicate a clear team vision aligned with company goals and a strategic problem-solving approach.
• Strong project management skills, including prioritization, resource management, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to staying current with modern software engineering practices, machine learning advances, and continuous improvement.
