Senior Project Manager

What you will do

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish project objectives, execution strategies, construction and contracting strategies, and project resource requirements.
• Lead the delivery of complex capital projects across design, construction, commissioning and qualification.
• Manage project budgets, plans, schedules, technical and commercial delivery, including assigned packages and scopes.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams while ensuring safe execution and compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Provide project status updates and reports and ensure project goals, timelines, quality and commercial targets are achieved.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in project management or engineering of large capital projects from design through construction, commissioning and qualification.
• An excellent record in health and safety.
• A third-level degree, preferably in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a good understanding or experience of project controls and governance across the full project lifecycle.
• Good understanding of all engineering disciplines.
• Excellent commercial skills and the ability to manage projects to budgeted hours and commercial return targets.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, positive and focused on high quality and business outcomes.
