Senior Statistician (Biostatistics)

Location: Remote; virtual role based in Madrid, Spain, with other locations in Meerbusch, Germany; Hertfordshire, United Kingdom; and Lisbon, Portugal.

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute biostatistical components of research and development projects evaluating the safety, efficacy, and marketability of pharmaceutical and biological products.
• Apply statistical methodology across the product life cycle and develop or apply statistical theories, methods, and software.
• Prepare statistical sections of clinical trial protocols in line with project objectives, health authority guidelines, and clinical trial methodology standards.
• Summarize and interpret study data in tables and graphs and prepare statistical sections of study reports.
• Provide specifications and direction to clinicians and statistical programmers.
• Support regulatory review and approval of experimental therapies and contribute to trial design, clinical conduct standards, and data collection, management, and reporting.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of the relevant professional area, typically gained through advanced education and experience.
• Practical knowledge of project management.
• A bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
