Senior Fraud Officer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Communicate with internal customer support to resolve dispute requests and respond to transaction-related inquiries.
• Process dispute transactions in internal systems and Visa and Mastercard card-scheme platforms.
• Review transaction-monitoring alerts, identify suspicious activity, and take immediate compliance-related action.
• Resolve cardholder issues by comparing possible actions and selecting the appropriate dispute-resolution approach.
• Maintain investigation records and case outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of card-scheme rules, improve fraud strategies, and continuously develop product and job knowledge.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a banking operations department.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capability to think outside the box.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Ability to manage stress and work with high volumes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard dispute rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in French.
