Finance Manager

Location: Philippines; remote. Full-time hours aligned with Australian business hours, 9:00am–5:00pm AEST.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four while fostering accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee procure-to-pay operations, transaction processing, coding, reconciliations, journals, balance sheet reviews, and payment runs.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, accruals, payroll across multiple entities and countries, and general ledger integrity.
• Manage GST/VAT, FBT, and PAYG/PAYE withholding compliance obligations.
• Support consolidated financial statements and group reporting under IFRS across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Support external audits, regulatory compliance activities, and ad-hoc projects and analysis for the Global Financial Controller.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of Big 4 experience in Audit and Assurance.
• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline and CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software, specifically Xero.
• Prior experience supporting accounting, finance operations, or shared services teams.
• Experience with Australian, New Zealand, and UK indirect tax and compliance requirements.
• Strong day-to-day spoken and written English.
• Availability for full-time Australian business hours.
• Reliable internet connection, own Windows-based PC, and a quiet dedicated workspace.

• Experience implementing or operating NetSuite.
