GIS Data Specialist (GeoAI)

Location: Adelaide or Perth, Australia; ongoing hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

What you will do

• Process point-cloud and imagery data into accurate, client-ready geospatial deliverables and perform quality assurance.
• Assist with survey-line planning and collaborate with surveyors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project data, documentation, digital-platform publishing, portals, and archival of completed datasets.
• Design and conduct advanced spatial analysis and GeoAI workflows.
• Translate technical requirements into successful client outcomes while maintaining data integrity and compliance with project standards.

Requirements

• Qualifications in Geospatial, Surveying, Hydrography, Earth or Environmental Science, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience across the ArcGIS ecosystem, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and/or ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Understanding of spatial data formats, geodesy, coordinate reference systems, and spatial-data quality and validation principles.
• Scripting and automation skills, with an interest in improving the efficiency and consistency of geospatial workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning, self-improvement, and ongoing professional development.
• Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience with Global Mapper and FME.
