Intern, Mechanical Engineering Designer (AutoCAD/Revit)

Location: Hybrid, St. Louis, Missouri, United States

Base compensation: $23–$28/hour.

What you will do

• Set up AutoCAD and Revit drawing files, including digitizing and cleaning working drawings.
• Draft HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems based on markups and instructions from design staff.
• Follow design checklists, drawing standards, and AutoCAD/Revit standards.
• Coordinate mechanical requirements with other mechanical services under direct instruction.
• Review completed work in detail before returning it to the Designer.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong spatial perception and visualization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, innovation, and continuous learning.

• General understanding of engineering and construction documentation.
