TL;DR
Technical Expert Developer (Vue/Java): Designing, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise banking applications with an accent on full-stack development, cloud migration, microservices, REST APIs, and service-oriented architectures. Focus on assessing legacy systems, migrating Java applications to the cloud, building Vue and Spring Boot solutions, and ensuring reliable delivery through testing, CI/CD, and application integration.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; remote and on-site work options

What you will do
- Analyze legacy applications and define modernization strategies.
- Design, develop, modernize, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise banking applications.
- Build solutions using Vue, Java, JSF, Spring Boot, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
- Participate in Java application cloud migration and digital mobility solution evolution projects.
- Design and implement REST APIs, SOA components, application integrations, testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Support technical decisions, knowledge sharing, development best practices, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of professional experience in software development environments.
- Strong full-stack development experience with Java-based technologies.
- Proven experience with cloud migration projects and modern application architectures.
- Strong expertise in microservices, REST APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, and JUnit, as well as data structures.
- Experience with SOA programming, SOAP web services, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing web applications with JSF, PrimeFaces, and Vue.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JBoss EAP, JBoss, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab, and SonarQube.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud application development and migration, CI/CD practices, and application integration.
- Ability to work in Agile environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Fluent English.
