Full Stack Java Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support scalable cloud-native backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and accessible web applications with React, TypeScript, reusable components, and modern frontend patterns.
• Develop and consume REST APIs using API-first design, OpenAPI/Swagger contracts, secure error handling, and reliable integration patterns.
• Design modular microservices using object-oriented and event-driven patterns, including Node.js components where appropriate.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries, containerize applications, and support cloud deployments and environment consistency.
• Build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, implement automated testing and quality gates, improve observability, and troubleshoot production performance and reliability issues in collaboration with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including production applications.
• Hands-on Java and Spring experience, particularly Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing.
• Frontend development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices.
• Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices in maintainable distributed applications.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, secure API design, and Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, secure software delivery practices, clear technical documentation, and client-facing workshops.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workforce Management, Customer Experience, contact center, or customer service solutions.
• Experience with AWS, Amazon Connect, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or similar communication technologies.
• Knowledge of workforce optimization and contact center operations, including forecasting, scheduling, routing, and adherence.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with CRM, HR, identity, payroll, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
