Senior Fullstack Engineer - Mexico (Fintech)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they work.

What you will do

• Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, production support, and maintenance.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and long-term features using Python, Go, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes for reliable operations.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and participate in incident response.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including end-to-end feature ownership and delivery in production environments.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks, domain-driven design, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines supporting full lifecycle engineering.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience managing both development and operational aspects of software, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to identifying improvements, optimizations, and innovations.
• Previous senior-level experience with responsibility for mentoring or guiding team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
