DevOps Engineer - Mid Level

Location: Hybrid in Reforma, Mexico City, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home. Work from anywhere is available for up to 8 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure and install the Imagen software solution for customer projects.
• Configure ImagenWeb environments and deliver customer-specific platform configurations.
• Write and run bespoke data-migration processes, scripts, and automation for delivery and content onboarding.
• Ensure services are ready for go-live with monitoring, alerting, logging, documentation, runbooks, and handover.
• Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, problem management, service recovery, and service-level maintenance during change and transition.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, participate in planning, follow operational standards, and provide on-call support as required.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambdas, and Function Apps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting proprietary software.
• Experience with Python or Windows PowerShell scripting and SQL.
• Thorough understanding of networking standards and protocols.
• Experience with the latest Windows Server operating systems, including troubleshooting a range of IT issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to deliver customer deployments accurately and achieve customer satisfaction; excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or technical operations role.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Exposure to ITIL-style incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with media, broadcast, or video workflows.
• Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, XML, and XSL transformation.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or ITIL 4.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
