Senior Backend Golang Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Golang backend services, RESTful APIs, and stable data contracts.
• Build asynchronous, event-driven communication with reliable messaging, idempotency, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Design distributed systems and microservices focused on scalability, resilience, maintainability, and production performance.
• Design secure APIs and integrations using authentication, authorization, and identity-management best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other enterprise platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building backend applications and services with Golang, including a solid understanding of concurrency and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message handling using Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing APIs and event schemas for long-term evolution and backward compatibility.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with microservice architectures, distributed systems, and relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience with TypeScript and Protobuf.
• Experience with Azure or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar tools.
