Software Engineer (Software Integrator) Intern

What you will do

• Develop software applications and APIs with the R&D innovation team.
• Build rapid prototypes and implement, test, and deploy them as ready solutions.
• Identify possible solutions and diagnostics for troubleshooting.
• Conduct site surveys, collect data, and perform test procedures.
• Integrate and implement solutions as demonstrators or deployments in demo vehicles.

Requirements

• Strong coding skills and demonstrable programming aptitude in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with sensor technologies such as cameras, radar, RGBD, or UWB.
• Experience with middleware technologies such as DDS, MQTT, ROS 1, or ROS 2.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Linux, and Windows.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of object detection, tracking, and identification.
• Knowledge of deep learning technologies and tools including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
