AI Scientist (Healthcare AI)

Location: New York City, United States; other listed company locations include Boston, Redwood City, Chicago, and Remote - USA.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 for NYC/SF; $100,000–$150,000 for Remote US. The stated range is applicable if the role is performed from California and may vary for Colorado, Illinois, and New York.

What you will do

• Research, design, train, and deploy multimodal AI models using pathology slides, genomic profiles, spatial omics, and longitudinal patient records.
• Develop AI solutions for biomarker discovery, therapy outcome prediction, and Companion Diagnostics.
• Contribute hands-on as an individual contributor to AI product development.
• Ensure AI products meet healthcare regulatory guidelines and quality standards.
• Publish original research in high-impact venues and engage with the global AI research community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated expertise in deep learning model development and rigorous evaluation.
• Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications in leading machine learning or computer vision venues.
• Proficiency in Python and the modern deep learning stack, such as PyTorch.
• Experience in computer vision and multimodal modeling, including pathology or multi-omics, is preferred.
• Prior work in medical or healthcare AI is highly valued but not required.
• Publications in medical or healthcare AI venues are preferred.

• Strong product-level coding skills for model development.
• Solid understanding of industry-standard software engineering and development practices.
