AI Architect (Azure)

Location: Fully remote within Latin America; listed locations include São Paulo, Santiago, Mexico City, Montevideo, Bogotá, and Buenos Aires.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end enterprise AI application architectures using Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Architect secure applications incorporating LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, and workflow orchestration.
• Design backend and full-stack solutions with Python, C#, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel.
• Define cloud-native deployment architectures using containers, microservices, REST APIs, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply security-by-design, identity and access management, and secure networking practices while optimizing performance, inference workloads, and operational costs.
• Establish architectural standards, evaluate emerging AI technologies, make technical decisions, and mentor engineers in collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with proven experience building full-stack and backend systems in C#, Python, and React with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Networking, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Practical experience with AI application frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or comparable tools.
• Solid architectural understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agent design, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architectures, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making skills.
• Fluent English at C1 level is mandatory, including the ability to lead technical discussions, collaborate with international stakeholders, and produce clear architectural documentation.
• Must be based in Latin America.

Hiring process
