2027 Summer Additive Manufacturing Intern - BS or MS (Gloucester, MA)

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $31–$41 per hour.

What you will do

• Support engineers with measurement and analysis related to additive manufacturing design.
• Develop a GUI to control a test stand.
• Design and order test-stand fixtures as needed.
• Write data-collection procedures and test plans.
• Complete a research project expanding best-known methods and publish articles on the internal Applied Wiki.
• Review project status weekly with a supervisor and assist with other team projects and activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Good academic standing at the university.
• Quick learner.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably Creo.
• Experience with additive manufacturing.
• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing.
