Business Requirements Specialist (Insurance)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Design and maintain the functional architecture of the SAM Information System, including business and functional area mapping and information system and enterprise risk mapping.
• Organize and maintain User Acceptance Testing and regression testing for projects, functional enhancements, and application maintenance.
• Coordinate with Development and Production teams on goals, dependencies, timelines, and delivery activities.
• Define project and enhancement scope, milestones, implementation plans, requirements, decisions, and delivery documentation.
• Translate insurance business needs into functional specifications while considering technical and operational constraints.
• Provide day-to-day user support, respond to production issues, maintain test scenarios and datasets, and contribute to architecture, tooling, change management, and IT methodology improvements.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in MOA, business analysis, or requirements roles, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Growing understanding of insurance business, products, and operational processes.
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively to production issues and operational requests.
• Strong command of IT project delivery methodologies and understanding of web-related architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, including SSMS.
• Working knowledge of Office 2016 or any ticketing application tool.
• Experience with SquashTM or an equivalent test management tool.
• French at C1 level, including excellent reading, writing, and speaking.
• English at B2 level, including good communication skills.
