A&A Support Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, United States — fully onsite, 5 days per week; or Fort Meade, Maryland, United States — hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 telework day per week.

Salary: $65,000+ annually.

What you will do

• Support DoD customers in understanding and accessing services, gather service-request information, and provide briefings and project timelines.
• Plan and schedule customer meetings, A&A Categorization Meetings, Software Assurance Risk Management reviews, and bi-weekly meetings addressing MP concerns.
• Track project progress, maintain status in TLR or designated repositories, provide weekly system status reports, and coordinate branch assignments.
• Review service submissions, upload artifacts to RTS and eMASS, and maintain information in government tracking repositories.
• Support SCA-R personnel, ISSMs, leadership, and other stakeholders while following published A&A TTPs.
• Review system topology diagrams and technical and non-technical documentation for compliance, accuracy, and grammatical quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field.
• 1–3+ years of overall cybersecurity or network security experience and 1–3+ years of C&A/A&A experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) or Management (IAM) Level II certification.
• Proficiency in relevant technology areas including network, mobility, Windows, UNIX, cloud environments and cloud-native tools/services, HBSS/Endpoint Security Solutions, databases, and applications.
• Experience with eMASS, STIG Viewer, Nessus, ACAS, SCAP, or HBSS.
• Understanding of the RMF process, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI 1253.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills, customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across technical teams.
