Senior Scientist - Humanized Mouse and B Cell Immunology

Location: Bar Harbor, Maine, United States; onsite research role.

Pay range: $113,718–$190,388 per year, determined by years of experience.

What you will do

• Lead scientific research initiatives, set research goals, and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Design, plan, and execute complex experiments using advanced methodologies, instruments, and techniques.
• Analyze experimental data with statistical tools and interpret results to develop meaningful conclusions and insights.
• Prepare findings for scientific publications, present results at conferences, and communicate with peers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior researchers, and foster an innovative research environment.
• Contribute to grant proposals, research funding, and budget management.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required.
• At least 6 years of experience conducting scientific research required.
• Extensive scientific research experience, preferably with a publication record in reputable journals.
• Proficiency in methodologies, tools, and instrumentation relevant to the research area.
• Strong leadership, project management, mentorship, networking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with peers, establish scientific partnerships, and communicate research findings.

Nice to have

• Doctorate degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to innovate, think critically, and propose novel approaches to research problems.
• Experience writing grant proposals.
