Junior Accountant (Accounts Payable)

What you will do

• Review Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, and Goods Received records according to established criteria.
• Validate incoming invoices against related purchasing and goods-receipt documentation.
• Enter invoice data into purchasing systems in line with accounting policies and procedures.
• Facilitate payments and prepare payment proposals according to the corporate payment calendar.
• Support colleagues and vendors in resolving queries and issues.
• Perform assigned accounting activities, reconciliations, and validations during month-end closing.

Requirements

• First experience in accounts payable, accounting, or transactional purchasing in a shared services center.
• Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
• Very good English is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
• Experience with Coupa or another purchasing tool.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
